9. Can a lease with Clune & Company be paid off early?
          Are there pre-payment penalties?

You may pay off your lease early, without any
          prepayment penalties or termination fees.

    10. Why should I lease instead of buy?

Financing your capital equipment acquisition with a
lease has many advantages over depleting your cash
reserves to purchase new assets.  Learn the facts here.

    11. What is a UCC?
A UCC filing is a notice of security interest filed using the
Universal Commercial Code. The Uniform Commercial Code
(UCC or the Code), first published in 1952, is one of a
number of uniform acts that have been promulgated in
conjunction with efforts to harmonize the law of sales and
other commercial transactions in all 50 states within the
         United States of America.

We only file a UCC (security interest) on the collateral
that has been financed through Clune unlike some
lending institutions that file blanket liens on all your
equipment and/or real estate, whether they financed it or not.

   12. Can I finance equipment from various vendors on one
         lease contract?
Yes you may. If your equipment is coming from more
than one vendor within the same time period, you
may wish to put the equipment on one lease and have
         one monthly lease payment.

We can also write a Co-Terminus lease. If you wish to
do a separate lease schedule as some equipment is to
be delivered now and other equipment is not available
until a later date, you can structure a separate lease
schedule but make the term coincide with your original
lease. Your payments will can be due on the same due date and
you can just make one monthly lease payment for both
         schedules every month.

   13. Who is the very best leasing company in the country?
         Clune & Company, of course!

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How long does a lease application take to complete?
Clune's application process is efficient and quick, usually within one hour from start to finish.

  2. What asset value range can Clune & Company finance on one lease contract?
Clune has the flexibility, financial strength, and additional funding relationships to serve a broad range of asset values.

For some new and all existing customers, our policy is to accommodate requests as low as $5,000.  We also serve many customers who want to finance equipment anywhere from 5 to 7 figures, with a strong appetite and focus on the $50 - $100K asset range.

  3. What is the interest rate?
Leasing is a stream of payments and does not break out the payments into principal and interest, much like renting an apartment versus buying a home. Clune's lease payments are very competitive - and NEVER include added charges such as interim rent and escrow fees.

  4. Can I get a lease if my company is new?
Clune will consider leasing to a new business for up to 24 months with approved credit.

  5. What types of equipment can a business owner finance with a lease?
    The answer may surprise you.

  6. Does Clune lease used equipment?
    Sometimes.

In this era of austerity and recycling, one man's trash is another man's treasure. Consequently, we are being asked this question frequently enough that we thought we should address this issue. Clune & Company and most other lessors are normally reluctant to finance used equipment because it is statistically riskier business than financing new equipment. In fact, most lessors will not finance used under any circumstances. When might Clune consider a lease on used equipment?

  7. What's my balance?
We suggest that you either call Clune at (800) 862-6633 or email us at billing@clune.net and we will get the information back to you.

  8. What does this past due notice mean?
Past due notices are mailed 11 days after the due date as a reminder to our customers that we haven't yet received their monthly payment. Most leasing companies charge late fees after one day late. Clune gives a 10-day grace period. The past due notice shows the payment amount, any accumulated late fees and a total due. We would appreciate the customer giving us a call if the payment is in the mail or if there are extenuating circumstances as to why it hasn't been paid.
